Direct Relief focuses on strengthening existing, fragile health systems in poor areas with resources that enable the trained health workers already there to address the tremendous needs. | Issues
In order to strengthen fragile health systems, Direct Relief places a high priority on assisting health partners who focus on women and children. Other key support areas include providing assistance to health partners who provide basic health services, combating HIV/AIDS, and responding to disasters. |
