Matching Gifts
An easy way to increase your gift to Direct Relief International is through your employer’s matching gift program. Numerous organizations, including companies, corporations, foundations, not-for-profit organizations and associations match their employee’s charitable contributions—sometimes for double the amount of the initial gift.
Make Direct Relief International a Partner in Your Company’s Matching Gift Program
If your company does not have a workplace giving program, or if you would like to see Direct Relief International become part of your existing campaign, please contact Direct Relief at jpegram@directrelief.org or ask the person responsible for your company’s workplace giving program to contact us at (805) 964-4767.
Generally, information on your company’s matching gift program can be obtained through your Human Resources (HR) Department. In most instances, you will need to submit a matching gift form to Direct Relief International so we can verify your contribution and return the form to your company for their matching donation.

Some companies and agencies utilize one of the following methods to process employee gifts:
• If you are a federal employee, Direct Relief International’s Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) number is 10665.
On your workplace giving campaign form, look for Direct Relief International under Independent Charities of America (ICA). ICA is a Direct Relief partner in the workplace.
• Do Unto Others (DUO) members participate in employee giving campaigns in corporate, state, and municipal workplaces throughout the country. Look for them in your company's giving list. If you don't see Direct Relief, call (800) 934-9755 for information on how to add us to the list.
• If your workplace works exclusively through United Way, look for Direct Relief International on their list of charities. If it is not represented, most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participating charities. Look for a “donor option” line on your giving campaign form and write in “Direct Relief International.” Your local United Way will forward your gift to us.
