In March 2007, Direct Relief provided Quality Healthcare Unit, a partner organization since 2004, with maternal and child health equipment that will significantly upgrade the facility’s ability to diagnose problem pregnancies, monitor fetal development, perform abdominal and uterine surgeries, and prevent complications for women who have miscarried.
